Although time control has gotten much better for starting on time, it was still crowded. I have not done a 6:45am AC tour but have done later in the AM. If Secret Slot tour ends at 11:30, will we make it comfortably to Monument valley with a stop for lunch by 4:30? We HAVE TO be in Monument Valley by 4:30 (Mon Valley time), latest. I'm kind of liking this Secret Canyon idea but would I be making a mistake to miss Lower Antelope? The tour includes an off-road, open air truck drive through Navajo land. They say that you'll have plenty of space and time and no crowds.
This one is 2.5 hours and only one tour operator (that allows up to 15 people) goes there. There is however a tour available that day for Secret Canyon at 9am.
My MAIN question/concern is, is there enough light at this time for photos (iphone)? From a few posts I've read here, I wonder if it's too early for great visuals? (Ken's has one at 7:00, but Dixie Ellis advertises an hour and a half tour while Ken's tours are max an hour and 15). The ONLY tour still available for Lower Antelope Canyon that day with Dixie Ellis is the 6:45. Hi, We will be in Page for one day at the end of July.
